SARF Commemorates U.S. Constitution’s 225th
Jan 26th, 2012On September 17, 2012, patriots everywhere will commemorate the 225th Anniversary of the Signing of the U.S. Constitution. The SAR Foundation is joining the celebration by offering a James Madison lapel pin and 3-inch medallion with wood stand and presentation box for contributions of $225 or more. The Treaty of Paris, signed on September 3, 1783, ended the American Revolutionary War between Great Britain on one side and the United States of America and its allies on the other. The other combatant nations, France, Spain and the Dutch Republic had separate agreements; for details of these, and the negotiations which produced all four treaties. Its territorial provisions were "exceedingly generous" to the United States in terms of enlarged boundaries.
